Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all personal information collected by Entreprise Castle Hall Alternatives inc.  (“CASTLE HALL”) from the castlehalldiligence.com site (the “Site”) or any other social media platform in connection with its services. This policy is subject to the laws of Quebec on the matter, an Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector, as well as any other applicable legal provisions and regulations. CASTLE HALL respects your right to protect your personal information and undertakes to protect them and use them only for the purposes for which they were collected. The objective of this policy is to inform you about our privacy practices, notably by giving you information on why we collect personal information, as well as how they are used and stored.

How and Why Personal Information is Collected

CASTLE HALL may collect some of your personal information when you sign up for our newsletter and when you communicate with us through the “Contact us” section. The information is mainly your name, email address, company name, phone number, as well as any additional information you may wish to include in the message.

Storage and Communication of Personal Information

CASTLE HALL stores personal information for a reasonable period of time, either to achieve its objectives or to comply with the law, whichever time frame is longer. Our storage criteria depend on the kind of information collected.

We do not share your personal information with a promotional partner unless you authorized us to communicate your personal information in such a fashion.
 

Personal Information Concerning Minors

Information on our Site is not intended for minors. CASTLE HALL does not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Security

Data is stored on servers located in Montreal, as well as in the United States and in a designated European location for data related to the OPSDILIGENCE section of the Site and equipped with the appropriate security systems to protect it against access from unauthorized persons and misuse. This information is only made available to persons (employees or mandatories) who need access to this information to carry out their responsibilities.

Our newsletter is provided to you through HubSpot. Our subscriber list is also stored on a secure HubSpot server located in the United States. HubSpot will never sell or share your information or contact you. Only authorized employees have access to view our subscribers list. Although CASTLE HALL makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that no unauthorized person has access to your personal information or the content of your private communications, the Internet is not a secure place and CASTLE HALL may not be held liable for any communicated personal information that may be intercepted by malicious third parties.
